The Bala Shark, also known as the Silver Shark or Shark Minnow, is a sleek and fast-moving freshwater fish admired for its metallic silver body and sharply outlined black fins. Despite its name, it is not a true shark, but its torpedo-shaped body and active swimming style give it a striking, shark-like appearance. Bala Sharks are schooling fish that thrive in groups and bring constant motion and energy to large aquariums. They are peaceful by nature but grow quite large, making them best suited for spacious tanks with plenty of open swimming room.
