Description
The Hillstream Loach is a unique, river-dwelling fish known for its flattened body and wing-like fins that allow it to cling to rocks and glass in fast-flowing water. Often compared to a miniature freshwater stingray in appearance, this species features intricate, maze-like patterns across its body. Native to cool, oxygen-rich streams in Southeast Asia, Hillstream Loaches are excellent algae grazers and thrive in well-oxygenated aquariums with strong water movement.
